ATEEZ LIVE REVIEW

ATEEZ | July 21, 2025 |  Kia Center – Orlando. FL |  Review by Shay Claudio

We pulled up to the Kia Center in downtown Orlando on Tuesday, July 22nd, and already I could tell this was going to be different from any show I’d seen there before. If you know anything about K-pop concerts, you know the show starts way before the lights go down. Fans arrive hours early, not just to line up, but to make the whole experience something unforgettable. The area outside the Kia Center turned into its own mini festival. People were handing out freebies like photocards, stickers, banners, buttons, etc, hosting random dance plays to ATEEZ songs, and just vibing with others who shared the same deep love for these eight men. One of the coolest activations was the “Atiny Zone”, where if you had the official ATEEZ membership or paid $12, you’d receive two exclusive photocards, only available at the concert. I got mine and immediately screamed over who I pulled. Thanks to my luck, I got Yeosang.

The hype had been building for days. Starting on July 20th through July 22nd, ATEEZ hosted a special “ATEEZ IN YOUR FANTASY” merch pop-up at the DoubleTree By Hilton Orlando Downtown Hotel. Fans lined up early for a chance to buy their gear ahead of time, which consisted of lightsticks, tour shirts, photocard packs–the whole haul! But it wasn’t just about the merch. Inside the pop-up, there were mannequins dressed in ATEEZ’s stage outfits, and fans could pose for photo ops with their favorite looks. There were interactive games, and places to meet other Atinys and geek out over everything from the setlist, to who had the best solo stage. I spent way longer there than I planned, playing trivia games, chatting with fans who were just as hyped as I was, and snapping pics with the outfits–especially after I spotted Yeosang’s fit. There was a chance to get random photocards if you spent over $50 or if you bought trading pack photocards. When we opened up our cards outside, I talked with some kind Atinys and we traded photocards. And the experience didn’t stop outside. Inside the venue, they had ATEEZ-themed drinks at the bar–each one named after a song. Naturally, I grabbed the “Thanxx,” a mocktail of Cherry Pepsi with lime juice. But I was feeling bold and asked for it with tequila, and let me tell you, it was chef’s kiss. Themed drink in one hand, photocards in the other, I was ready.

I had tickets for Section 115 Row 2, which turned out to be the perfect vantage point. From there, I could see both the main stage and the extended catwalk, and let me tell you, ATEEZ used every inch of that stage like it was their playground.

When the lights dropped and the beginning VCR ended shortly, “Bouncy (K-Hot Chili Peppers)” kicked off, and the entire arena snapped to attention. It was loud. Like, vibrating-through-your-chest loud. Then came the fireworks, literally, “Fireworks (I’m The One)” was next, and it was blasting across the stage while flames lit up behind the boys. You could feel the heat from the stands. They didn’t hold back. San danced like he was made of fire, Mingi and Hongjoong traded bars like rivals, and the energy never dipped. Every moment was sharp, clean, and absolutely consuming.

What made Day 2 even more thrilling was how different it felt from the night before. I attended Day 1 having the Fantasy VIP Package with Soundcheck (it was amazing), and you could tell the difference. The boys talked more, played more with the crowd, and just overall looked like they were having the time of their lives. Yunho sent hearts in every direction, and Mingi’s stage presence? Absolutely Unreal. I swear Yeosang made eye contact with me at least twice. I’m claiming it.

The transitions between songs were seamless, and that extended stage made it feel like they were everywhere at once. One minute, I was recovering from “Turbulence,” and the next, I was screaming “LEMON DROP!” at full volume. When they played “Shaboom,” the entire section almost passed out. Then came Hongjoong’s “No1.” One of the loudest crowd screams came when Hongjoong came down to the floor in the middle of his solo stage to pass the mic to fans so they could sing along. He wasn’t ready for our energy, but we gave it right back to him. Followed by Mingi’s “Roar” with that gritty “Autobahn” intro, it was like watching a movie unfold onstage.

The solo stages were something else. Yunho’s “Slide to Me” had fans screaming for their lives before the first chorus even hit. Seonghwa’s “Skin” was haunting, elegant, and absolutely breathtaking. I felt like I was intruding on a dream. And then Yeosang’s “Legacy”? (can you tell I have a favorite) He owned that stage like it was built for him. Jongho’s “To Be Your Light” almost brought me to tears with how effortlessly he poured his soul into every note. By the time Wooyoung’s “Sagittarius” came on, it felt like a love letter to the fans, sensual and intimate. And I’d be lying if I said San’s “Creep” didn’t completely destroy me. He transformed the stage into something dark, magnetic, and unforgettable.

And if you thought that was the end? Nope. The Day 2 medley was a treat all its own! “Say My Name,” “Thanxx,” “Fever,” “The Leaders,” and “Crazy Form.” That’s right. Unlike Day 1, where fans got “Good Lil Boy” and “To The Beat,” this switch-up brought in two completely different tracks, and the crowd lost it. “Fever” felt like an emotional burst of nostalgia, while “The Leaders” had us jumping like we were in the middle of a stadium cypher. You could tell the boys knew we noticed the change; they laughed through the transitions like they were letting us in on a secret.

Somewhere during “Say My Name,” I looked around and realized I wasn’t just watching a performance, I was part of a moment. Fans were crying, laughing, dancing, and living. When they closed with “Fin : Will,” it felt like a warm hug from the group to the fans, and it hit even harder knowing how much effort they put into this tour for us. They didn’t just perform, they gave it their all.

By the time we stumbled out into the sticky Florida night, my voice was gone and my legs were jelly, but my soul? Charged. There’s something about an ATEEZ show that doesn’t just entertain, it moves you. “In Your Fantasy” in Orlando wasn’t just a concert. It was a cinematic masterpiece. And thanks to the anticipation from the pre-show pop-up, to that final encore, I walked away feeling like I had experienced something truly unforgettable. If ATEEZ comes anywhere near you, don’t think twice. Get the ticket. Wear the merch. Lose your voice. Because this is what it feels like to be alive.
