The sands of time are slipping away as we get ever closer to 2022. Trapped in a time machine moving forward at an excruciating speed, our minds and bodies are being transported slowly away from 2020: the year that never seems to end. Staying true to that idea, multiple 2021 year-end celebrations have been cancelled due to this damn virus one way or another. Lets take a minute to recap the best of what’s still on the table for Central Florida’s hungry music fans this weekend.

80’s Sensation TIFFANY is playing HAOS on CHURCH Street in Downtown Orlando on December 31st! She’s responsible for “I Think We’re Alone Now” and “Could’ve Been.” Toast to the new year with a midnight Champagne lead by Tiffany. Tiffany joins Orlando Drag Favorite April Fresh (Miss Comedy Queen Pagent), BlueLALA Entertainment (The Peek-a-boo Lounge), and VarieTease to ring in 2022! Brent Smith and Zach Myers are one half of the very successful band, SHINEDOWN. Touting 14 platinum or gold singles over the course of their musical journey, Smith and Myers are bringing an acoustic show to the House of Blues in Orlando (Lake Buena Vista, FL). The Wednesday night pre party makes this four-day extravaganza a raging way to ring in 2022. JJ Grey and Mofro are playing Jannus Live out in St. Petersburg New Year’s Eve (TICKETS HERE), and you’re still trying to figure out if you want to go? I do not pity nor envy you, because that should be the easiest decision you have to make this year! JJ Grey is one of the best blue collar blues/country/soul singers around and he puts on one hell of a show.
