It might make me sound like a hipster to say this, but whatever; I love catching artists when they’re on the rise, before they get really big, you know? It’s great because you can say later on that you knew about so-and-so before they got really famous and that you saw them up close at that one small venue that everyone loves.
Mod Sun (that stands for “Movement On Dreams Stand Under None” by the way) may be one of those up-and-coming artists that you should go see before you miss out on the early days. He’s coming to the Social on Monday, February 23rd, so if you have a free night and you can get down with some “hippie hop” (yeah, that’s right) then I say you should come on out and get it! One thing is for sure when it comes to Mod Sun: He’s been creating some of the freshest, most positive hip hop out there right now. Don’t take my word for it though, please do yourself a favor, check it out.
That song gets stuck in my head. I can appreciate those good feels and I can relate. (Did I say that?) Just saying though, this is going to be a fun show. Maybe it will even make you happy as fuck. I don’t know, come find out!
