Dads is a two-piece indie/math rock band that’s emotionally charged with New Jersey heartache. This is where you’ll want to be on Valentines Day if you’re telling your ex to fuck-off or just want to bleed a little with the rest of us. Who knows? Maybe you and your partner connected over this band and it’s the perfect Valentines Day present.

The last time we caught Dads was at The Social about a year ago with Reggie & The Full Effect (Read The Review Here). I love the cover of Dads’ album American Radass (This Is Important). It features Miley Cyrus with the word “FUCK” written over her and a guy with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth sports permanent marker across his head reading “DADS.” Here’s my favorite song off that album titled “Shit Twins.”

Dads is coming to BackBooth Orlando on Saturday, February 14, 2015 (win tickets below).

Dads released a new full-length album in October 2014 titled, I’ll Be the Tornado. They’re touring supporting this new release but we’re sure they’ll be playing some old favorites from their Pretty Good EP and American Radass.

Main support for the the tour will be new-comers, Runaway Brother, from Cleveland, Ohio. Checkout some of there tunes on the Runaway Brother Bandcamp.
