Believe it or not, Superheaven formed in 2007. Originally known as Daylight, a legal dispute caused them to change their name. They were introduced to the world with their powerful debut album, Jar (2013). They made it on Alternative Press’s “39 up and coming bands that you must check out” of 2013. This caught the attention of independent record label SideOneDummy Records who put out their next release, Ours Is Chrome, on May 4, 2015. Check this shit out:
As stated in Episode 3 of The Shows I Go To Podcast, it picks up where their debut album left off. Driven by grungy melodies and early 90’s flavor, you don’t want to miss this up and coming band with a familiar sound when they rock the BackBooth in Orlando on Thursday, June the 11th (win tickets below)!
Also at that show is Maryland’s Diamond Youth, a band that impressed Rebecca Weinberg at the 2015 edition of Skate And Surf.
