Shovels & Rope recently released their fourth album, Little Seeds, on October 7. This is the most personal album that the duo Cary Ann Hearst and Michael Trent (husband and wife) have ever released. The album contains 13 tracks inspired by recent occurrences in their lives: from death to disease, from the gift of childbirth to the shooting in their hometown of Charleston, S.C. in 2015. On a lighter note, the duo folk-rock duo released a cover album in November 2015 titled Busted Jukebox Vol. I, which tackles songs from Elvis Costello, Nine Inch Nails and Guns n’ Roses, just to name a few.
