At last, our favorite stomping, FEST-related addiction, Safety is going on their first 2016 tour this spring. The Brooklyn indie punk vets are supporting their 2015 release Congratulate Me, I’ve Lost My Mind (album review here) and we might just lose ours over how incredible it will be to hear more of these songs live.
The Northeast US is in for a treat with these incredible performers. The three-piece can blast colorful energy, but it’s the music itself that packs a punch. Listen to Safety share their story on the Shows I Go To Podcast. Safety are masterful storytellers, putting words to every emotion wrapped in a heartache and placing undeniable imagery to it, too.
LISTEN TO OUR SAFETY INTERVIEW HERE!
As I wrote in my fall EP review for Safety:
“Safety provides both the warm comforting embrace, the “I get you” energy, the cold shoulder, all tucked in an album.”
Trust you, you won’t want to miss their show. 🙂
