Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox marries those two masterfully with covers of popular tunes from artists as diverse as Blackstreet, Miley Cyrus, and Radiohead. Postmodern Jukebox employs a stable of brilliant musicians to provde a fresh take on pop songs that might otherwise be summarily dismissed by the discerning music fan.
The name may sound unfamiliar, but the look and sound probably won’t. Postmodern Jukebox most likely dominated your Facebook feed for a spell with their cover “All About That Bass” or “Creep.” It’s music that swings with lyrics you know (whether you wanted to or not).
