But if you’re looking for something with a little more oomph to get you back in that nostalgic groove, look no further than the band New Found Glory. NFG is back on tour with fellow groups Four Year Strong and Be Well, and they are all coming to the Orlando House of Blues on June 10th for an unforgettable show to celebrate 20 years of their seminal album, Sticks and Stones (TICKETS HERE).

Hailing from Coral Springs, Florida, the group formed in 1997. The band currently consists of lead vocalist Jordan Pundik, bassist Ian Grushka, lead guitarist Chad Gilbert, and drummer Cyrus Bolooki. Most notably, NFG has been credited as being one the “Grandfathers of Pop Punk”, forging the path of the budding genre in the late 1990s. These guys really have been around since the beginning, scoring a headlining spot at the 2002 and 2004 Warped Tour as well as rubbing elbows with the likes of Blink-182 and Greenday on tour.

One can truly appreciate their dedication to the craft of musical passion. The genre of pop punk can sometimes feel contrived or fabricated. Not for the honest guys of NFG. After over ten studio albums, the band seems to be as committed as ever, writing insightful and emotional lyrics of real life experiences that pair with the hardcore and fast-paced musical composition they are known for. For me, the ability for music to come off as an honest representation for real life experiences is an incredible feat for any group, and New Found Glory does this exceedingly well.
