The first time I saw Andy Hull sing live, I experienced all those and more in the way of an emotional clusterf*ck. Manchester Orchestra is touring in support of their new album A Black Mile To The Surface. Their latest project is dark, vibey, and its melodies tend to be emotionally provoking.

Luckily for us, their first stop on tour is September 5th at the House of Blues Orlando!

There really aren’t too many bands who sound this great live. Andy Hull and Co. are keen on their show and attention to detail. Hopefully, he returns with his signature electronically stripped red Telecaster and plays a couple tunes from COPE, Simple Math, and Everything to Nothing.

However, if you haven’t listened to A Black Mile To The Surface all the way through 43 times yet, I highly recommend that you get started. ABMTTS is a heavy rollercoaster of heart felt spot-on songwriting which is relatable to the core of the human experience. It’s everything you’d expect and more from the Atlanta based shredders whose songs are only more ethereal live.
