A festival about love, Love for each other, Love for the universe, Love for food, music, art…So come feel the love!”
Mills 50 will always be a timeless neighborhood (possibly one of the only ones). You can bike the long Mills Avenue stretch from Delaney Park to the edges of Winter Park and feel the burn either way, coming or going. Uphill, if only slightly, both ways.
It’s heart, however, lies somewhere around Virginia Drive, wherein its buzziest places come together to create some of Orlando’s greatest culture. There’s a sticker on the window of Tako Cheena which states its walls adorned with a chameleon of art are a safe space to report, and wait for the police should an anti-LGBTQ crime occur. These decals decorate the city and truly bring a sense of pride to its residents. A sense that we all really have each others’ backs.
Now it’s time to celebrate with Love Fest 2018—bringing the people who make this neighborhood constantly reciprocate with an influx of art, music, & food out of the woodwork and on display.
Love Fest 2018 will feature Food Trucks, Vendors, and Non-Profit Organizations with booths. This event is designed to benefit the wonderful Mills 50 5013(c) Organization.
Shows I Go To will have a booth, too! Come grab a free koozie and browse our concert photos! 😎
Tongues can wag for cocktails from The Guesthouse, whose bartenders are beautiful magicians with a bag of tricks unmatched around the city.
Your entertainment will be a handful of ORL artists. Setlist below.
Love Fest will be a beautiful start to the new year and keeping Mills 50 revitalized with art, music, food, & love, in no particular order.
And, THIS IS A FREE EVENT!! 🙂 #alocalthing
