G Love is a staple in the music community. Like that Mountain Dew you keep in the fridge. He keeps his style fresh with the funky roots and blues he brings from town to town, making people smile and dance. Typically you’ve seen him in the past as a solo act or as a three piece known as G. Love & Special Sauce. But, after recording his latest album, The Juice, G. Love is touring as an eight-piece to bring his crunchy, greasy, finger-lickin’ good tunes to Jannus Live in St. Petersburg, FL on Saturday, February 12, 2022.

The Juice is G. Love on a whole new level. A good man knows when to ask for help and this man has asked for some of the best help. Marcus King lends his guitar in the albums namesake, “The Juice.” He also receives a helping hand from steel guitarists, Robert Randolph and Roosevelt Collier. So he has three awesome guitarists on the record, but that’s not all! Ron Artis II and Keb Mo join the party to round out his ninth studio record with The Juice (band). G. Love has been around for a while. In fact, he featured Jack Johnson on his ‘99 album, Philadelphia back when Johnson was relatively unknown. There they played one of the first recorded versions of “Rodeo Clowns.”

This amazing band will be filling the confines of St. Pete’s coolest outdoor venue, Jannus Live. Here patrons can enjoy their favorite music while enjoying the Florida sunshine.
