Foxing has always been hyper aware of their time here on earth. Not quite a death complex, rather, a heightened sensitivity to the clock on creating a kind legacy to leave. Music to remember; encapsulated moments inside songs to hold you.

Their latest effort, Nearer My God, is meant to be heard live. With such movements as “Five Cups” and “Bastardizer” begging lights, and interludes, Foxing will showcase the mood behind this album fully.

There is no better band writing songs right now than Ratboys. Julia’s ability to unearth history from centuries ago and make it ring relevant today, is a careful and beautiful conception yet heard in indie rock.

Above, the Kentucky native sings low the tale of a feral boy who ended up living in the Royal Palace with the King of England. Her plucky voice riddles honesty as she coos, “Peter, why are you sad? And how in the world did you let it get this bad?“

Ratboys, Julia and Dave, reach every emotion on the spectrum on their second album, GN. Most might say coming home to find your beloved animal in the freezer would be jarring to say the least. The duo find a way to take the stomach churning tinge of death and bring lightness to the situation. (You might even shake your body to it.)

Kississippi will be taking the stage first to complete this holy trinity of indie realness.

Her single, “Cut Yr Teeth” was probably the song which got your attention. Now that you’re listening, she’s got way more to say.

The PA native will have you at her feet in one verse with her raw lyrics. Her debut album, Sunset Blush, captures the exact moment you awake, question love, shed your skin, and begin again.

Orlando is beyond lucky to be graced by musicians with such heart and range.
