But, as summer fades into fall a caravan of reggae rockers are on their way to Florida to save the day! Fortunate Youth hopes to keep those summer vibes alive as they tour Florida with Passafire and Joe Samba on their “Riddim Rydah” fall tour. Fortunate Youth Tickets Orlando 2022

Fortunate Youth remains grounded amongst traveling the country and spreading the Good Times. From city to city, they bring the breezy vibes while sticking to their Southern California roots. This six piece reggae outfit draws inspiration from blues, ska, soul, and even punk! These former little league teammates have become big time musicians on their way to creating popular works of art like their 2011 debut album, Iris State of Mind, which peaked at #13 on Billboard‘s Top 100 Reggae Albums. In 2021, FY dropped their fifth studio album, Good Times (Roll On), which is being considered for “Best Reggae Album” by the Grammy Awards. Since their formation in 2009 they have had one simple mission: “spread peace, love and unity with music.”

Passafire rocks their reggae from Savannah, GA! In 2021 they released their seventh studio album, Strata, which features badass tracks like “Keepin’ On,” “Sleepless,” and “Friends.” This work of art came together during the stale days of the pandemic. The songs flowed as they collaborated over the internet on their way to creating music that keeps the band alive.

Joe Samba blends upbeat reggae with his energetic soul and funk to concoct his refreshing style. In 2019 he released his debut album, The Wrong Impression, which made it to #1 on Billboard’s Reggae Album ranks. Don’t miss his vocal range, his guitar work or his stage presence!

Hurry down to The Plaza Live which was originally constructed in 1963. Get your reggae on at the city’s original first two-screen movie theater. The historic Plaza Live is one of Orlando’s premiere live concert venues, offering seated and standing shows of a wide variety.
