Fool's Paradise 2017

FOOL’S PARADISE: Lineup Additions & Late Night Shows | St. Augustine Amphitheatre, FL | March 31 & April 1, 2017

by • February 2, 2017

As if it were possible, paradise just got a little bit nicer. Fool’s Paradise has announced some sweet lineup additions as well as late-night afterparties. In addition to the already killer lineup, funk/dance powerhouse The Motet has replaced soul sensation Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires who was supposed to be on the lineup but had to cancel for illness reasons. Also, frequent Vulfpeck vocal collaborator Antwaun Stanley has been added as an Artist at Large.

On March 31 & April 1, Lettuce, Purple Hat Productions, Live for Live Music, and Silver Wrapper will host the 2nd annual Fool’s Paradise, a funk-fueled destination event taking place in the heart of one of America’s most historic cities: St. Augustine, Florida. Returning to the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, the two-day extravaganza will feature two explosive sets from New York funk masters Lettuce (one set each night). In addition, Friday will also include premier Grateful Dead tribute band Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, a special Manic Science set featuring Manic Focus & Break Science, LA-based groove masters Organ Freeman, and Dead & Company bassist Oteil Burbridge as an Artist at Large. Saturday will also include electro-funk duo The Floozies, The Motet, contemporary funk ragers The Main Squeeze, and Antwaun Stanley as an Artist at Large. Several cross-collaborations amongst bands are to be expected.
