Christopher Joseph Ward, better known as CJ Ramone, the bassist, backing and occasional lead vocalist of the punk rock group the Ramones (from 1989 to 1996), brings his 2016 tour to The Local 662 in St. Pete with special guest Broken Gold on Wednesday, May 25th. WIN TICKETS BELOW!
The Ramones are legendary and they always believed in their vision while changing the face of music in whatever way they could. The garage band from Queens never changed what they about during their existence and made a major mark on the music world. Songs like “Blitzkrieg Bop,” “I Wanna Be Sedated,” and “Rock n’ Roll High School” are anthems that will live on and inspire generations. They spearheaded the punk rock movement and were leaders for rebellion. The Ramones played their last show in 1996. CJ’s latest album Last Chance To Dance was released in November 2014.
