Globetrotting producer Bonobo is no stranger to the evolving world around him. Revered as one of the biggest electronic acts on the planet, Bonobo’s “Fragments Live Tour” is simply unstoppable. His path to greatness is littered with epic performances at Glastonbury, Coachella, Red Rocks Amphitheater, and many more! The man behind the music is Simon Green. He has produced six studio albums including his recent record, Migration (2017). This work of art has reached #5 in the UK album charts and was nominated for a Grammy Award for his single, “Linked.” Other recent hits of his include, “Ibrik” and “Final Days.” In January of 2022, Bonobo released Fragments which also peaked at number five on the UK album charts. It houses huge hits like “Rosewood,” “Tides,” and “Otomo.” “Otomo” is a 2021 collaboration with O’Flynn.

During the pandemic Bonobo paired with Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs to create “Heartbreak,” an 1980’s NYC dance song at its core. Bonobo has implemented his own label OUTLIER to release all of his upcoming new music. It allows him to expand his sound and catalog of music while unlocking his talent as a musician. Over time his sound has evolved from trip hop centered beats to jazz and downtempo styles. Bonobo now draws inspiration from organic sounds and implements them in his tranquil ambient songs. Every performance has its own vibe. A call back to nature with the technology of the future.

About The Venues

The RITZ in Ybor City was constructed in 1917 and has recently undergone $2 Million in renovations to emerge as Tampa’s premier special events venue. The Ritz Ybor hosts music fans in three separate rooms as well as a grand foyer with full service bars. They have a state of the art lighting system and food for every occasion! Conveniently located in the heart of historic Ybor City, The RITZ Ybor is a short trolley ride away from the Channelside district, a mere 2-3 miles from downtown Tampa and the University of Tampa, and a 15 minute car ride from Tampa International Airport. The Plaza Live was originally constructed in 1963 where it was the city’s first two-screen movie theater. The historic Plaza Live is one of Orlando’s premiere live concert venues, offering seated and standing shows of a wide variety.
