For one night only at the House of Blues in Orlando on August 12th, come see Anthrax and Black Label Society to witness the founders of thrash do what they do best, melt faces and rock all night. Anthrax formed in New York City in 1981 and currently consists of members Scott Ian, Charlie Benante (Interview Here!), Frank Bello, Joey Belladonna, and Jon Donais. Along with other household names such as Metallica, Slayer, and Megadeth, Anthrax is considered one of “The Big Four” or four of the most commercially successful bands to usher in the new age of thrash metal. And there’s a good reason they’re recognized as such. Their discography is full of double bass beats, screeching guitars, powerful and ground shaking vocals, all paired with a ferocity that is unmatched by any band to come after.

Songs like “Among the Living” and “Caught in a Mosh” from their third album Among the Living (1987) contain the perfect recipe to bang your head to. From maturing and complex lyrics and composition, to a buffet of melodious and chugging riffs, this album is considered their best.

“But wait” I hear you say, “These guys are old right? Do they still have what it takes to make me scream so hard I cough up a lung?” And to that I say this: these “old guys” just released an absolutely insane live streamed album of their greatest hits and deep cuts, that clocks in at over two hours and fifteen minutes long.
